KXPZ, 99.5 Zia Country received the 2017 New Mexico Broadcast Association’s Award for Public Service Campaign and is honored to have presented a check of $2000 to Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley, on behalf of Bravo Mic Communications and The New Mexico Broadcast Foundation.

The Zia Country Community Giveback’s “Santa Paws” was the radio station’s public service campaign to raise money and supplies for our local shelter. KXPZ, along with their listening audience, worked hard to raise money and supplies for Animal Service Center of the Mesilla Valley. Programs Director, Lyndsey Kalson, stated “We’re honored to do what we can for our community’s first stop for abandoned and stray animals here in Southern New Mexico- during the harshest time of year, when we see the most need.” Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley also reported a huge spike of on-site donations during the holiday season campaign.
