LAS CRUCES NM- Bravo Mic Communications LLC would like to thank Las Cruces for giving back to our local shelters and becoming “Santa Paws” for the animals of Dona Ana County and Las Cruces, New Mexico. On January 2nd, 2020 the crew from Bravo Mic Communications Family of Radio Stations delivered over 1000 lbs. of dry dog and cat food, toys, supplies, collars and leashes, along with hundreds of blankets and towels to be used as comfort items through the winter months.
Local radio stations 92.7 FM News Talk/ 1450am KOBE, 96.7 La Equis, 99.5 Zia Country, 101 Gold, and Magic 104.9 invited listeners to become “Satna Paws for our local shelter furbabies” by donating items needed most during the winter months. This is an annual event of the Bravo Mic Communications “Community Giveback” initiatives throughout Las Cruces and Southern New Mexico. Listeners made donations in studio and at local “Community Giveback” sponsor locations throughout the Las Cruces area. Santa Paws Community Sponsors were invited to join the campaign by Bravo Mic’s Local Sales Manager, Tamera Blaeser, which included; Horse N’ Hound Feed and Supply, Viva Auto of Las Cruces, First Financial Credit Union, and Borman Autoplex.
Donations were delivered to Action Programs for Animals, a 501c3 non-profit rescue organization in Las Cruces, and to Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley, the local municipal shelter serving Southern New Mexico. Deliveries and manual lifting provided by Magic 104.9’s Morning Show host Ricky Tarin, 101 Gold’s Afternoon Host Jack Lutz, Marketing Executive Crystal Segovia, and Operations Manager Lyndsey Kalson- along with Lyndsey’s daughter, Sheylah Holder, who volunteered her time during her winter break from LCPS.
“Cruces Connected,” said Lyndsey Kalson, Bravo Mic’s Operations Manager “this is our biggest goal in 2020, and it is off to a wonderful start. We are so thankful to be a part of Las Cruces and the many rural communities of Southern New Mexico. More great music, and more community connection is coming.”
